HMS Carlisle in China, 1920s
Here we see a close-up view of the Carlisle class cruiser HMS Carlisle during her time on the China station in the 1920s. Note two range clocks, one on the bridge and one on the aft superstructure, designed to allow other ships to share her firing solutions.
