Here we see the Palmer modified 30-knotter HMS Bonetta from the right, giving us a good view of the modified bows, in which the turtleback foredeck was modified so that it's top was level (rather than sloping down towards the bows), to make the ship drier. This led back to a curved fronted gun platform and bridge area. Palmer's Tribal class destroyer HMS Viking used a similar layout, include the pattern of funnels (although with two 'paired' funnels for a total of six).
