HMAS Voyager run aground, 1945

Here we see what was left of the W class destroyer HMAS Voyager after three years on the beach at Betano, Portuguese Timor. She ran aground in September 1942 and after attempts to re-float her failed she was attacked by Japanese aircraft then abandoned and scuttled by her crew.
