QF 12-pounder gun on HMAS Huon
Here we see one of the QF 12-pounder 12 cwt guns on the Australian River class destroyer HMS Huon, showing the controls on the side of the gun. The two wheels with cross bards were the elevation and traverse wheels. The gauges above the gun were actually part of a torpedo tube hidden behind the gun. The picture was taken at Devonport in March 1919.
