Picture showing the rear view of a Heinkel He 111. This is a He 111H or later, featuring the most familiar form of the cockpit canopy, and the partly covered rear dorsal gun (seen here). The aircraft was shot down behind French lines during 1940, and was reported as a He 111K, a mis-identification that seems to have been common during the war.
