British soldier guarding Nijmegen Bridge
Here we see a British soldier guarding the bridge over the Rhine at Nijmegen, which fell into Allied hands intact during Operation Market Garden. The lack of traffic on the bridge suggests this pitcure was taken after the battle was over.
