Grumman F3F from the left
Here we see the Grumman F3F, the last biplane fighter used by the US Navy. The F3F was an improved version of the earlier Grumman F2F, and was in front line service from 1937 to 1941, when it was replaced by the Brewster F2A Buffalo.
