Here we see some of the ground crew at RAF Ismailia in Egypt, in January 1945, standing in front of a single engined radial engined aircraft of some sort, although exactly what isn't clear from this angle!
Many thanks to Michael Hopkins for sending us these pictures, which came from his father's collection, and came towards the end of his RAF service, which lasted from August 1941 to November 1946.
