Gneisenau from the Front

Here we see a frontal view of the German battleship Gneisenau, showing the forward triple turrets, some of the secondary armament, the towering superstructure and the ever-increasing array of sensors and other items that cluttered up Second World War era warships. This view also shows the raised 'Atlantic Bow' that was added after her original bow was found to let too much water onto the ship when she was traveling at speed.
