German POWs on Dragoon landing beach
Here we see a group of German POWs marching along one of the landing beaches for Operation Dragoon, having been captured early in the operation. In the background is a Landing Craft Infantry (Large) (LCI(L)), the largest type of dedicated beachable infantry landing craft in Allied service.
