This page from Lt. D.W. Gay's Log Book covers his flying experiences from 21 April- 6 May 1944. Once again we have a mix of bombing training in the Airspeed Oxford and navigation training in the Avro Anson, and the first night bombing mission in Oxford, in which six bombs were dropped in a close group. There is also one low level exercises and one sea patrol, so the variety of exercises is increasing.
Many thanks to Martin Hampton, the son in law of Lt. Gay, for sending us this material.
