Freccia Class Destroyer Dardo
In the foreground is a Freccia class destroyer, the first Italian class to have a single funnel. The DR code on the stern and the original US caption suggests that this is the Dardo. In the background we see a similar ship, probably the Folgore, name ship of the next class of destroyers (Folgore Class).
