RAF Boeing Fortress I in Flight
Here we see an RAF Boeing Fortress I (B-17C) in flight, showing one of the earlier, fairly lightly armed versions of the aircraft. This version carried a nose gun, two guns in side blisters, a back/ rear firing gun in a gun tub and an upper gun behind a sliding cover.
