Celebration Fireworks, Moscow, 1944
Here we see a fireworks display over Moscow, probably to celebrate the results of the Dnieper–Carpathian Offensive, which by April 1944 had seen the Germans pushed out of most of the Ukraine and back across the pre-war borders of the Soviet Union.
