Here we see a Felixstowe F.2A in flight during an anti-submarine patrol, probably over the North Sea. The shadow shows that this picture was taken from another flying boat. We can see at least three of her crew - the nose gunner, the pilot and a third figure emerging from the interior of the aircraft. This particular F.2A has an open cockpit, which was believed to give a better view.
