Crew of the Emo
Here we see the crew of the Italian Marcello class submarine Emo being rescued after their submarime was badly damaged by the trawler HMS Lord Nuffield off the coast of North Africa on 10 November 1942. After the crew abandoned the submarine she was scuttled to prevent her falling into British hands.
