Duguay-Trouin after wartime refit

Duguay-Trouin after wartime refit

The Duguay-Trouin had been interned at Alexandria after the French surrender in 1940 and her refit began in August 1943 after the German occupation of Vichy France allowed her to join the Allied cause.
