Dorner Do X during US tour of 1931-32
Here we see the massive Dornier Do X flying boat during its US tour of 1931-32. The flight out took almost ten months (partly because of a fire at Lisbon that caused a six month delay and partly because the purpose of the trip was to show the aircraft along the route)), but the return trip took a rather more impressive three days (21-24 May 1932).
