Dornier Do 217E from below
Here we see the Dornier Do 217E from below, a much larger and more powerful development of the earlier Dorner Do 17. This angle gives us a good view of the cockpit area, with the glazed bomb aimers position in the nose, pilot's postition above, and the under-nose gondola, which carried a rear firing machine gun.
