Deutschland being commissioned, 1933
Here we see the commissioning ceremony for the heavy cruiser Deutschland on 1 April 1933. It isn't entirely clear from the original caption which of these ships is actually the Deutschland - the ship in the background is one of the three Deutschland class ships, but the ceremony is clearly happening on the ship in the foreground.
