Destroyers make Smoke Screen, Fourth battle of Cassino
Here we see a smoke screen being laid down by German destroyers to cover the British cruiser HMS Dido, which was carrying out a shore bombardment to support the left wing of the Allied offensive during the Fourth battle of Cassino.
