The Curtiss F9C-2 Sparrowhawk was a small fighter designed to operate from US Navy airships. This flight of three was allocated to the airship USS Macon, some time in 1933-35 (between the loss of the airship USS Akron in 1933 and the loss of the Macon in 1935).
