This certificate was produced to commemorate the crew of G for George of No.86 Squadron on 5 May 1945 when she sank U-534 in the Kattegat north-west of Helsingör. The crew pictures are posted around the squadron crest. The motto (Ad Libertatem Volamus) translates as 'We fly for Liberty'.
