F/O Claydon Posting Telegram, 1942

Here we see the speed with which wartime careers could change, as C.W.J. Claydon was ordered to curtail his leave and take up a new post in charge of the Medical Stores at RAF Ballykelly in Northern Ireland, starting on 4 January 1943.

Many thanks to Peter Claydon for sending us these pictures, which belonged to his father, C.W.J. Claydon, who spent much of the war serving as a medical officer with No.120 Squadron at Ballykelly, Northern Ireland.
