Churchill Crocodile in action at Le Havre
This is the first photograph released showing the Churchill Crocodile Flamethrower tank in action, during the attack on Le Havre in September 1944. The tanks themselves are almost invisible, but the flams they produced stand out vividly. Le Havre was liberated on 12 September 1944.
