Chinese 22nd Division on the Ledo Road
Here we see troops from the Chinese New 22nd Division marching along the Ledo Road, the main focus of most of their campaigns, and a key supply line for their battles in northern Burma. This picture was published in the late summer of 1944, at which point the road reached into northern Burma, but not into China - the first convoy to succesfully use the road to get supplies to China didn't reach its destination until early February 1945.
