Chateau Walzin near Dinant
This picture shows the dramatic location of Chateau Walzin close to Dinant, and illustrates the sort of scenary in that part of Belgium. The town was captured by the Germans in mid August 1914, and later in the month they killed 674 civilians, in the largest war crime commited by the Germans during 1914.
