Canadians crossing the Ijssel near Deventer
Here we see Canadians driving across a light folding boat bridge across the Ijssel near Deventer in the north of Holland. The Canadians had taken part in some very hard fighting in Belgium and Holland, but by the time they reached this far north German resistance was much more limited.
