British Solder in St. Martin-des-Besaces, 1944
Here we see a British soldier in the ruins of St. Martin-des-Besaces, a village in the area between St. Lo and Caen that was one of the British targets during Operation Bluecoat. The village is now the home of the 1944 Bocage Breakthrough Museum.
