The original caption described this picture as a formation of Motor Gun Boats returning to base after an attack on a German convoy. The three boats are a British Power Boat design - the sloped rear to suprestructure, the shame of the bow and the type of rear gun mount identify it as a 70' model. Not many of these were built - only MG6-21, 46 and 50-67.
