British Infantry waiting for start of 4th battle of Cassino
Here we see a group of British infantrymen taking shelter besides a railway track while waiting the orders to attack at the start of the fourth battle of Cassino. Note the Bren Gun in the centre of the picture and the Thompson sub-machine gun on the sleepers at the bottom right of the picture.
