British and German Wounded near Caumont
Here we see British and German wounded at a forward regimental aid post near to Caumont, waiting to be taken back to a base hospital. They were wounded during Operation Bluecoat, a hastily organised British attack designed to pin down German troops and thus help the breakthrough being achieved by Operation Cobra.
