British Artillery land at Boulogne, 1914
Here we see a British gun team towing a newly landed artillery gun through Boulogne, some time in 1914. From this angle the type of gun is difficult to identify, although the seated figure on the gun axle suggests that this might be a QF 13-pdr gun, as used by the Royal Horse Artillery, as the 18-pdr lacked axle seats.
