Bridge over the Albert Canal at Beringen, 1944
Here we see a Sherman tank crossing the Albert Canal at Beringen, using a German tressle bridge that had been damaged as they retreated, but repaired with part of a Bailey Bridge that can be seen in the centre of the span.
