Brewster F2A-2 Buffalo from the left
Here we see a Brewster F2A-2 Buffalo in RAF service (although the export version was slightly less capable than the American version). From this angle the Buffalo looks similar to the later and much more capable Grumman carrier fighters, but it was badly outclassed against modern combat aircraft in the Far East in 1942.
