Boeing F4B-1 over Pensacola, 1930s
Here we see a flight of Boeing F4B-1s over Pensacola during the 1930s. The F4B-1 originally had a smaller tail and different cowling for the engine, but over time were given ring cowlings and the tail designed for the F4B-4. Both of these changes have been made to these aircraft, but they still have the original split undercarriage.
