Here we see Lt Cdr (A) W Dobson, RNVR, inspecting a Blohm und Voss BV 138 at Kiel. Dobson was attached to the Advanced Naval Party so this picture will have been taken soon after the Allies arrived at Kiel. We get a good view of the BV 138's three engines, and the slightly awkwardly placed gun turret in front of the cockpit.
