Here we see a Blackburn Roc Mk.I in floatplane configuration, parked outside the hangers of the Marine Aircraft Experimental Establishment at Felixstowe, Suffolk. The Roc wasn't fast enough to catch modern bombers with wheels, so the floatplane version would have been even less effective.
