Here we see the third prototype of the Messerschmitt Bf 109, the V.3 (work number 760) from the right. This aircraft was the first to carry a machine gun in the middle of the engine, firing through the tip of the propeller spinner - the tip of the barrel can be seen in this picture. This became the prototype for the Bf 109B.
