Messerschmitt Bf 109 Wreckage
Remains of a Messerschmitt Bf 109. The cockpit canopy is missing. Below the cockpit the cap for the fuel tank is visible. The number 87 in a triangle below that indicated the type of fuel this aircraft required. This aircraft had been shot down by French anti-aircraft fire late in 1939.
