Mlle. Moreau nursing British wounded, Antwerp

Mlle. Moreau nursing British wounded, Antwerp
This picture shows Mlle. Moreau, a Belgian nurse who had been imprisoned for her resistance activities, treating British wounded at Antwerp. The original wartime caption says she was from the Belgian White Army, possibly meaning the Belgian Secret Army, the final wartime name for the Belgian Legion, which adopted a white uniform in the summer of 1944.
