Naval attack by Beaufighter of No.143 Squadron

A super picture of a Beaufighter of No.143 Squadron attacking a German warship. Note the bullet splashes to the left of the ship and the clearly visible turrets just behind the aircraft. The ship is probably a German minesweeper (tentatively identified by the combination of the mast on the forward superstructure and the gap to the funnel.
