Side view of Aoba Class Cruiser
Here we see side views of an Aoba Class Cruiser, the first Japanese cruisers to carry a new twin 20cm gun turret. This allowed the number of turrets to be halved from six on the previous class of cruisers to three. The 20cm guns were later replaced with more modern 20.3cm guns, but it isn't easy to tell which are being carried here.
