Here we see an Allied bulldozer clearing some of the rubble in Argenta, a key town at the western end of Lake Comacchio, which fell to the 8th Army during the Battle of the Argenta Gap (Operation Buckland), allowing the Allies to turn north and dash towards the Po Plains, towards the end of the Italian campaign.
