Fuselage of Albatros D.III being towed

Here we see the fuselage of an Albatros D.III being towed along the Aixi-le-Chateau road near Doullens on a R.F.C. tender in March 1917. From this angle we get a good view of the large fin below the tail, and the tail skid attached below it.
