USS Winslow (DD-359) at Rio, December 1942
Here we see the Porter class destroyer USS Winslow (DD-359) during a trip to Rio de Janeiro at some point in 1942. The Winslow operated in the South Atlantic from early in 1942 until April 1944, and is already looking rather battered in this early photo!
