USS Wiltsie (DD-716) in the Pacific, 1969
Here we see the Gearing class destroyer USS Wiltsie (DD-716) in the Pacific on 16 April 1969, during a voyage that took her from the US West Coast to the Philippines. At this point she has undergone her FRAM upgrade, which has given her a wider upper deck (supported by the rows of pillars along the sides), a wider bridge, and a helicopter landing pad and hanger for the DASH drone.
