USS William M Wood (DD-715), late 1940s
Here we see the Gearing class destroyer USS William M Wood (DD-715) in the late 1950s, in her original configuration. Like almost all Gearing class destroyers she would later be massively modified, with a FRAM upgrade seeing most of the superstructure replaced.
