USS William M Wood (DD-715) with FRAM I

Here we see the Gearing class destroyer USS William M Wood (DD-715) at some point after her mid 1960s FRAM I upgrade. This saw most of her superstructure replaced, giving her the wider bridge seen here as well as the DASH hanger and helicopter landing pad towards the stern. She also lost one of her three original gun turrets.
