Captain John W Reeves on USS Wasp (CV-7)
Here we see Captain John W Reeves, the captain on USS Wasp (CV-7) on his ship on 6 March 1941, on her way to Norfolk. On the following day she rescued the crew of the sinking schooner George E. Klinck, which was foundering in a storm.
